Dear Knight Online Players,
Effective January 2020, all new Steam Knight Online accounts will be required to complete a phone verification process. This requirement will not be necessary for accounts created prior to the aforementioned date and time.
When a newly created account logs in to Steam Knight Online, the user will receive the following message before reaching server selection:
Click the “confirm” button to proceed to the phone number authentication screen.
You will be able to select your language (English, Turkish, or Spanish) in the upper right corner. Select your country code and enter your phone number in to the blank space provided. This field will only accept numbers. Letters are not accepted. Spaces and/or dashes are not necessary.
Once you have entered your number and country code, click the “Check Phone Number” button.
The system will verify if the number is valid and send a message your phone. Once you have received the SMS, you will have 10 minutes to click the “Check Phone Number” button. You will have 10 minutes to use verification code or else, process will be resetted.
Once this message displays, you may hang up and proceed to play Knight Online.
If there are any errors or failures to authenticate, you can click the “Retry” button to return to the starting screen to re-enter your phone number. Please note that the authentication process can only be attempted 3 times within a 10 minute period, and can be restarted 10 minutes after your last attempt.
You may authenticate up to 3 accounts per phone number.
If the authentication process continues to fail, please contact support for further assistance.
